The biz, The buzz, The bottom line...

August 22, 2005 POMA announced the
launch of its membership newsletter, POMA Briefs.
The newsletter is available to members through the Member's Only
Area
of the POMA Web site.
The newsletter slogan, The Biz, The Buzz, The Bottom Line,
explains POMA's focus. The association and its services center on the business
of communicating the traditional outdoor sports story, what's new and exciting
in the fishing, hunting and shooting sports, and increasing the bottom line for
all its member.
In just two months, POMA already boasts more than 235 members.
The membership roles include the most knowledgeable and seasoned media
professionals in the outdoor segment and the outdoor industry's corporate and
organizational movers and shakers.
The newsletter officially launches new member services
and provides updates on association news:

Slip Work Orders
• CP & Media Member Spotlight
• Trade Tips
• Tele Sessions
• Weekly Bytes
• New Member Category
• and much more.
POMA Board of Directors member, Laurie Lee Dovey, said some areas of the Public and Member's
Only Areas of the Web site are still under construction, but reported members
responded enthusiastically to the newsletter and the new services announced.
