August 22, 2005 POMA announced the launch of its membership newsletter, POMA Briefs. The newsletter is available to members through the Member's Only Area of the POMA Web site.

The newsletter slogan, The Biz, The Buzz, The Bottom Line, explains POMA's focus. In just two months, POMA already boasts more than 235 members. The membership roles include the most knowledgeable and seasoned media professionals in the outdoor segment and the outdoor industry's corporate and organizational movers and shakers.

The newsletter officially launches new member services and provides updates on association news:

•  Blue Slip Work Orders
•  CP & Media Member Spotlight
•  Trade Tips
•  Tele Sessions
•  Weekly Bytes
•  New Member Category
•  and much more.

POMA Board of Directors member, Laurie Lee Dovey, said some areas of the Public and Member's Only Areas of the Web site are still under construction, but reported members responded enthusiastically to the newsletter and the new services announced.
